Markhor partnered with Social OG Pink to support Pakistan’s emerging women entrepreneurs and the next generation of female innovators and leaders.
Why it matters here
Pakistan has one of the lower rates of female participation in the formal workforce in the region, and women starting businesses face a narrower set of networks and funding routes than men do. Programmes that provide introductions and visibility do work that capital alone does not.
What a sponsor adds
Backing a programme like this is not the obvious move for an energy drink. The audience is not the one that buys the most cans, and the return is not measured in sales.
That is the distinction between a brand activation and corporate social responsibility, and Markhor lists the two separately for that reason: this page covers community work, while sponsorships and signings sit in Stories.
