Markhor supported emerging entrepreneurs at BIC Cohort 2, with Nabil Afridi taking part in the programme.
Why incubators matter in Pakistan
Most new businesses in Pakistan are started without access to mentorship, structured feedback or anyone who has done it before. Incubators supply the thing capital cannot: someone who has already made the mistakes.
A cohort model also means founders leave with a network of peers, which tends to outlast the programme itself.
Markhor’s own position
Markhor is a young Pakistani company competing against multinational beverage brands with far deeper pockets. Supporting founders at the stage it was itself not long ago is consistent rather than decorative.
