Sport inside a medical university
Medical students have among the heaviest timetables of any degree in Pakistan, and university sport is usually the first thing cut when a schedule tightens. Championships survive on whatever budget can be found.
Sponsorship at this level pays for the practical things — running the fixtures, kit, prizes — rather than anything that would appear in a marketing report.
Why universities
Markhor has concentrated much of its community work on campuses in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. It is where organised sport actually happens for most young people in the province once school ends.
