Futsal in Pakistani cities
Football in Pakistan is played mostly on small hard courts rather than full pitches, which makes futsal the real urban form of the game. It needs little space, works under floodlights and runs in the evening after work or classes.
That makes a city championship one of the more reliable ways to reach young men in a Pakistani city who do not play cricket.
Backing a second season
Supporting a competition in its second year is a different thing from attaching to an established one. Season II is where most community tournaments either take hold or quietly stop.
