Very few of Pakistan’s international cricketers were found through an academy. Most were seen in local leagues like this one, by someone who happened to be watching.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has produced a disproportionate number of them. Local league cricket in the province is not a feeder system in theory — it is where the pipeline physically is.
